General Manager | Kori Derrick-Cisewski
Though I was new to the boating industry when I started here in 2014 I have great memories of spending summers on the St. Croix on my aunt and uncle’s boat. I grew up in New Richmond, WI and still live there today out in the country with my husband Kyle, step-daughter Kora, sons Kroix and Knox and chocolate lab, Kromer. I went to the University of WI – Eau Claire where I studied marketing. After graduation, I spent six and a half years at an industrial machining company as their Marketing Specialist traveling the US doing numerous trade-shows. I enjoyed seeing and exploring all around the U.S. and beyond but now I am fortunate to be able to stick close to home because I believe there is so much this area has to offer. In my spare time when I’m not spending it with family and friends, you will find me making stamped metal jewelry, enjoying any number of outdoor activities, curled up with a good book or visiting the UP, my home away from home! I look forward to visiting with you all this summer or any time of the year when you stop in!
Office Manager | Ellsa Ohmann
I grew up in the St. Croix Valley but now live in Clear Lake, WI with my fiance Kody and our dog Carbon and cat Ash. When I’m not at work you can find me outside enjoying nature, fishing, or trying out a new recipe at home. I love spending quality time with my family and friends and having a good time!
I started at BMA in 2018 working at the Fuel Dock and quickly got addicted to working on the river. I recently graduated from Purdue University Global with my degree in Business Administration. I am dedicated to providing our guests and boaters with a top notch experience through outstanding customer service, communication, and a smile! Make sure to stop by the office to say hi if you’re in the area! 🙂
Services Manager | Nick Lutfi
I have a wife of 15 years, Katie, a 13-year-old son Cameron, and 9-year-old daughter Gracie. I grew up in St. Paul (Selby/Snelling area) but now live in Ellsworth, WI where I have been for the last 4 years. In my free time, I enjoy fishing muskies on the St. Croix, hanging out with my family or maintaining my saltwater reef tank.
I have worked at BMA since September of 2016, as a service technician and just recently accepted the role of Services Manager. I may know your boats more than I know your faces right now, but I can’t wait to meet everyone and put faces to boats!
Service Technician | Jeremy Lowrie
I grew up in Red Wing, Minnesota, where I enjoyed duck hunting and four-wheeling. I now live in Newport, Minnesota, with my wife and 5 year old daughter. I’ve been working on boats for the past 20 years and have been employed at Bayport Marina since July 2003. My hobbies include hot-rodding, motorcycle riding, and spending time with my family. I enjoy boating on the Mississippi River and the St. Croix.
Refinishing Technician | Jason Ovall
I grew up in Stillwater, Minnesota and lived there most of my life before moving to Somerset, Wisconsin with my wife and two children. My interests are fishing, sports, snowmobiling and spending time at the cabin with my family. I have over 10 years experience working on boats and have been working in the service department of the Marina since April 2006.
Infrastructure Specialist | Scott Nielsen
I have worked on the St. Croix River for 32 years. I was the Operations Manager for three family owned marinas simultaneously for 21 of those years. I enjoy working at the Bayport Marina and being involved in the dock restoration project, as well as many other projects here at the marina. I live in Stillwater and have been married to my wife, Jan, for 37 years. I have two grown children – my daughter is a math teacher, and my son is a journeyman plumber. I also have three grandchildren who never fail to amuse and amaze me.
Grounds and Boatyard Crew Member | Tom Kislenger
I was born in Baldwin, Wisconsin, but grew up in St. Paul. I’ve worked at Bayport Marina since 2007. It’s been a great place to work with really good people. I especially like that I get to work outside most of the time. My interests and hobbies include watching the NFL, the Vikings, and cook-outs.
Certified Master Canvas Fabricator | Tom Matson
I started in the industry in Jr. High School working in my dad’s canvas shop in St. Paul. After 15 years, I took a short break from sewing. In April of 2000 I got back into canvas craftsmanship again and over the last 16 years, I’ve worked at a couple canvas shop along the St. Croix River. I am a Certified Master Fabric Craftsman and have won numerous National and International awards in marine canvas and upholstery. Now, I am excited to work at Bayport Marina! My wife Sherrie and I have been married for almost 30 years and we have two adult children, Nikki and Mike. Sherrie and I spend a lot of our summer weekends camping in our travel trailer at our wonderful Minnesota State Parks, and we spend all of the winter months waiting for camping season to start again!
Fuel Dock Attendant | Reese Herrig
I am Currently a Senior at Woodbury High School and am going to attend Hamline University next fall. I play both Hockey and Softball. I love to read, work out, and be on the river. I also have 3 dogs named Mr. Chow, Popper, and Breezer. I am mostly excited to meet new people every day while working at Bayport Marina! I love being in the sun and on the river, so working here will be lots of fun!
Fuel Dock Attendant | Natalie Ramthun
I enjoy being outside, playing sports, and hanging out with friends. I love to travel, sing and eat good food. I am most excited to meet new people and be working outside!
Fuel Dock Attendant | Abby Krenz
I am currently a Junior at Hudson Highschool. In my free time I enjoy boating, traveling and hanging out with friends! This is my second year working at the dock and I am super excited to be on the water and in the sun all summer! I love the people and atmosphere the dock has to offer and cant wait for another amazing year!
Fuel Dock Attendant | Chase Wilkinson
I am a Sophomore at Brecks School. I play both soccer and lacrosse, I have played soccer from a young age! For the past 4 summers I have enjoyed spending time on my family’s boat. I have 2 younger brothers, 2 dogs, and a cat. I’m most excited to spend my summer outside, on the river and in the sun while working on the dock!
Fuel Dock Attendant | Cadence Trudell
I love running, being with family and friends, babysitting, and going to new places! I keep busy with volleyball, powerlifting, and track. I also love hanging out with my siblings and dog and am an outgoing person up to doing anything! I am excited to meet new people and have new exciting experience’s.

I’m in 9th grade at Ellsworth High School, I enjoy fishing and hanging out with friends! I am most excited to be able to be on the water all day helping people!
Fuel Dock Attendant | Katie Shanley
I go to East Ridge High school, and am planning on attending collage in the fall, I currently play lacrosse. I like hanging out with my family and friends. I also enjoy spending time outside walking my dogs! I am excited to be outside, meet new people, and to be doing something new while also having fun!
