Under the leadership of Nowlin, Bayport Marina has received numerous other prestigious awards, including Quimby’s Cruising Guide 5-Anchor Award, North Central Marina Association’s first Marina of the Year and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency’s Green Star Award. Bayport Marina joins many other notable ValvTect Marina of the Year marinas from Punta Gorda, Florida; Saybrook, Connecticut, and Charleston, South Carolina.

Bayport Marina Earn's Quimby's Highest Honors

You will have to boat all the way downriver to Rockport, Illinois to find a marina, which compares to Bayport Marina, according to Quimby’s Cruising Guide. Bayport was recently honored as the only marina on the St. Croix and Upper Mississippi River to achieve Quimby’s 5 star rating. Quimby’s field inspectors evaluated and rated each marina listed in their guide. The overall appeal of the marina is considered as well as courtesy of the staff and management. Cleanliness is a major factor as well as all of the services available.
